2 year old pics

Ok, so I know I am a tad bit late at getting the two year old pictures taken. Since Connor had his stitches put in at two years and one week, I had to wait until his head looked somewhat presentable. :) Notice that the princess is smiling too! It has taken 2 years of getting pictures taken for her to actually smile.

Max loses another tooth

Mr. Max was wiggling around another tooth and low and behold, it is now out too. He made sure not to lose this one this time. It wont be long before the top ones start dropping out too, just in time for the summer corn on the cob season I am sure :).

Happy Easter!!

I hope all had a very happy Easter, it was a very blessed one for us!! Our day started off with some basket opening and an egg hunt in the front yard. During the day, Daddy and the kids were playing outside in the chilly 45 degree weather, while mommy was cooking a fabulous meal.

I did it, I did it, I did it!!!

After the past 7 months of intensive spiritual training, I am finally been accepted into the Catholic faith. It was a beautiful and breathtaking mass. From the candles, the singing, or just being one of the nine elect that were on display for the evening, it was so exciting!! All of our sponsors were so supportive and were able to answer any questions we had during the night. It felt so great and so right during the baptism, confirmation and to finally be able to take communion. I am still just so excited about this whole experience. I thank all of you for keeping me in your prayers, for this journey is still just beginning for me. I also thank you for the well wishes I have received, it really means a lot.

We also give a big congratulations to Greg too!!! You were definitely in my thoughts during our mass! Here are some pics from the evening :)

Easter Egg Hunt

While I was at church practicing for the Easter vigil, Bill and Grandma Beth took the kiddies to the Moose Easter egg hunt. Nobody won a bike, but I guess they each had a good time. I was practicing with Keira and Connor before I left for church. I put eggs all over the floor and had them retrieve them in their buckets.

Holy Thursday

Scrub a dub dub.. I got my foot washed in a tub.
During the Holy Thursday mass for The Last Supper, all of the elect and some of the sponsors had their feet washed by Father Jan and three of the deacons. It was a very nice mass and we all felt very blessed to be a part of it. During the next two days, their will be plenty of holy activities going on, with the conclusion being on Saturday night.

I wanted to also let Bill's cousin Beth's husband Greg know that we are thinking about him as he will be completing this first leg of his new journey in life, also on Saturday night. I am sure he is as excited as I am.

Connor can count

Connor was stacking his letters and numbers on the fridge and decided he would start counting them out too.. He did a perfect 1 to 10 before we started filming. It was so cute to hear him rambling out the numbers. He was doing this over and over again at church the other night while he was grabbing handfuls of my hair to count. Whatever keeps him quiet I guess :)

Easter Eggs

We decided to color 4 dozen Easter eggs this evening with the help of Grandma and Papa. (Thank You!!!) The kids enjoyed dipping their hands in the dye and Connor wanted to really take the eggs and smash them together. But I think all survived the ordeal (the kids and the eggs).

Max lost a tooth

For about the last week, Max has been using his tongue to play with his newly found loose tooth. He kept saying his tooth hurt and when we opened up his chops to look and see the problem, we found that his adult tooth was already coming in under this baby one. So with enough playing around and eating the right foods, out it came. He was so excited that it fell out he was carrying it around all over the house before bed. Then it came to his attention that he LOST it somewhere in the house. We searched all over the place. We even took the recliner apart, since that was the last place he remembered seeing it. After some sniffles about losing the tooth, his big sister Megan wrote a note to the Tooth Fairy stating that her brother really did lose his tooth this evening and was quite depressed about it and would really like a visit even though he didn't have a tooth to place under his pillow. He was OK with the note Megan wrote and they put it under his pillow. About an hour after Max went to bed, Daddy put on his slipper and low and behold, the tooth was somehow lost in there. We woke up Max to tell him we found it, but he was so out of it, he doesn't remember the conversation. We placed the tooth under the pillow and he woke up to find the money he was hoping for.

Random shots

Here are a couple of random shots from the past week.
There is a shot of our new "magical" Disney popcorn maker. All the kids were very excited to watch the "magic" pop right there in the kitchen. There are some shots of the twins in their new Disney shades . Then there is the little diva Keira right out of the bath.

Spring break - I guess

This past week has been somewhat hectic (as usual).
It all started with last Friday night when I was on my way from my real job to my fun job, when on the tollway and my tire decided to have a Nascar style blowout. That was quite fun :) Luckily Bill was leaving work at the same time so he could come help me, since I was on the way. So we got some help from the Tollway people and then we went home. Once I got home and got all situated, I was off to the house of mouse for a fabulous night of being magical.
Saturday consisted of Max going to a birthday party, me working, and Megan having the new neighbor girls spending the night. So that meant the house needed to be clean enough for new people in it :)
Sunday had me working and making a nice huge meal for my family. Too bad most family members weren't there :) Megan went to her friends and spent the night and Max was doing the same. So by the time it was done and it was time to eat, the twins were in bed. So I guess it was a nice, relaxing, calm, quiet meal.. I may have actually had a hot piece of food too:)
Monday - Busy busy busy day at work , RCIA which included a Mission Mass.
Tuesday - (supposed to be my day off) hahaha -It started with a doctor appointment for me, followed up a trip to Connor's doctor to get his stitches removed, then a trip to the vet to get the dog her heart pills. Once Bill got home, we had to go drop his car off to get something replaced (about 45 minutes away)
Wednesday - Another busy one at work ;) , got home then had to get Bill's car since it was done.
Thursday - (Also supposed to be my day off) hahaha - Since both my boss and my other teammate were on vacation and we have like 12 projects going right now, I had to come in to supervise for a half day. Came home and tended to my husband who had a doctor appointment to have some moles removed. Cooked a nice dinner and then took Megan, Max and Keira to the final Mission Mass at church. ( I am not bold enough to take Connor too) Keira was really good until about Communion time, then we disappeared to the back.
Friday - Fortunately since I worked a half day yesterday, I am doing the same today! I am thinking we may color Easter eggs or something tonight, since Holy week is quickly approaching, and I am not sure when I will be able to squeeze anything in next week.
